Morning Time

This is without a doubt my most favorite time of the day... Maya wakes up and is soooo happy... She smiles and giggles and coos, and looks back and forth from me to Jimmy... I never would have known how something so simple could ever make me so happy.

Maya loves shower time. Just the sound of the shower turning on can calm an unhappy baby... here she is, all clean and happy in her duck towel.

Noisy Sleeper and The Constant Hickups

Maya is 7 1/2 weeks old, and is without doubt the nosiest little thing ever. She makes theses crazy grunts which Jimmy has dubbed "the march of the penguins". She also can't seem to get rid of the hiccups, poor little thing, although they don't seem to bug her. Right now we're working on her sleeping schedule. Yesterday she wouldn't sleep all day, and today she just won't wake up... She is talking up a storm, and smiling constantly.

Maya loves the shower in the evening... She's big eyed, and makes these sweet, girlish cooing noises, all while the water splashes. We think we have a little water baby on our hands! Thanks for the tip Aunt Monica and Uncle Walter.
